Customer Reviews and Testimony

Let's hear what users have to say about their experiences with these treadmills.

SOLE F85 Treadmill Review

Recent Buyer William said on Amazon

"Really happy with my choice of the Sole F85 treadmill. Been using it for about a month and no complaints so far.

Delivery/Setup: it is really heavy - you need 2 people. Due to its weight though it is very sturdy to run on - feels solid. Kind of a pain to get some of the screws in but overall it went together pretty simple. Took my son and I maybe an hour to get it operational.

Use: controls very easy to understand, big fonts and bright display. I like the programs (hill, fatburn, cardio, strength, interval) - you plug in the time you want to walk/run and the max speed you want to run during the program and it calculates and sets the rest including incline. That means you can gradually program your workouts as minimally as you want to start to get in shape and then increase your workouts in small increments when you are ready to go to the next level. If you go to the next level too soon, during your workout you can decrement the speed a click or two and it will recalculate the rest of the workout. You can create your own pattern with User1 and User2. The odometer doesn't show hundredths of a mile but there is a graphic 1/4 mile lap oval that has 26 parts so each lights up about every hundredth of a mile.

I also like the cardio chest strap - your exact heartrate and % of max heartrate are displayed right on the console so you can keep an eye on it during your workout, especially how quickly it gets back to normal during your cool down.

One cool thing about the console - during your workout you can select "Segment Time" on the display and it will countdown the time in each segment of your workout - letting you know how much time to the next speed and/or incline change.

The fan and speakers are fine - nothing great but you are really just looking for a little sound and a little cool down during your workout.

The incline/decline motor and the belt motor work great - smooth and quiet. NOTE: you cannot plug this in to a GFI outlet (e.g. your garage). It trips the breaker since it draws too much current.

The foldup works good but it doesn't really get much smaller when you fold it up. The nice thing about foldup is you can then roll it around to wherever you want very easily.

Overall, very happy with the product and expect to use it successfully for years to come."

NordicTrack 2450 Treadmill Review

Recent Buyer Carol said on Amazon

"NordicTrac sent me an e mail asking me to review their product. It was a shaky start, but overall I'm happy with my purchase, so read on.

Pre-pandemic I went to Orangetheory 6 days a week. When I started putting together my home gym, air really wanted one of the treads they use, but they're $7,500 so that was out. Since I already have a Peloton bike I was leaning towards a Peloton tread, but after watching videos on YouTube of the Treadmill Guru using one, I realized it was the largest and the loudest. The new smaller tread was supposed to be coming out at the time 5 months ago very soon, but then Peloton made the news as their treads being unsafe, and they quit selling all of them for a period of time. Hence, I didn't want to wait any longer and went with the NordicTrac.

I didn't see an option to hire someone through Amazon to put together the treadmill, but if I had that option, I didn't see it. The treadmill is a monstrosity-VERY heavy. Anywho, my husband and father in law put it together, but the incline didn't work. We called NordicTrac and they had us take off the front plate, discovered in the wiring harness that a purple wire, which makes the incline work, was too short and wouldn't connect. Whomever put it together at the factory put a plastic zip tie on the cords too tight, which then caused a few other wires to be damaged. They mailed us cords and wanted us to do the maintenance, but if it doesn't work out of the box and spend over 2K, they should fix it. It took multiple phone calls to get someone to come out and work on it. However, once that was done, it's worked perfectly.

The iFit classes specialize in outdoor runs and hikes- this they've done brilliantly. The visuals are breathtaking. I really enjoy the hikes. However, since I am already a Peloton user, I was most excited to stream Peloton tread classes on my TV. If you'll be doing this, I would recommend pairing headphones- otherwise you'll need to turn your tv wayyyy up. You can also "jailbreak" your tablet on the NordicTrac to have the Peloton app, but I haven't done that yet. I prefer the Peloton classes; my husband prefers the iFit.

I would absolutely buy this treadmill again, but wish it hadn't been so difficult to get a technician out."
