SOLE F85 Treadmill Review
Recent Buyer MMW said on Amazon
"So I waited a while to review this treadmill, didn't want to jump the gun. First off, it looks awesome in our home gym!!!! Second, it's not just a new jacket rack or something we use the heck out of this thing, at least 50+ miles a week and still going strong. We had purchased a couple of cheaper treadmills over the years and always regretted spending even the couple hundred because of the quality of those machines, in comparison neither of us had a second thought on the almost couple grand that we dropped on this one.
You most definitely get what you pay for:
This machine does not "cut out" on you like cheaper brands do. My husband is not a small guy, 6' 3" and 220, our last treadmill the motor would stall every stride if he did more than a light jog. Not this one... Doesn't faze it one bit to run on it.
Long deck, I was a competitive long distance runner for some years. I like running on treadmills when it's cold out (who doesn't right?) but I was getting bad habits from our other treadmills. The biggest problem was not a long enough track! So instead of striding out I was shortening to accommodate for the habits I was learning on the treadmill. No good!
Incline, this machine has a killer incline! Wow! If you want a machine that will work your legs and butt this is it. I'm in pretty good shape but it's insane! You'll love it! It even tells you how many vertical feet you've climbed in your workout.
Very simple display: so this is something that other people may not care in the slightest about but I love it. The display has a blue backlight with very easy to see numbers. Yeah I'm weird, I light to run with the lights off sometimes :) helps with headaches and I can still see the display.
And it's the little things: it has a tray for your drinks, phones, or whatever one the crossbar up front, out of the way it's awesome! Also has places on the display to put whatever too, and a lip that holds a tablet in place too. I love it! Also has a fan built in, not a crazy powerful one or anything but when you're sweating your rear off it feels pretty amazing. Don't want to wear headphones? Yeah it has built in speakers and even comes with an audio jumper. Does not take up a whole lot of floor space when folded up, even has an assist to fold and drop the deck. Crazy :)
The only downfalls to this product: it is insane heavy! We are dreading the day we have to move because of the treadmill but it's worth the work I'm sure.
The delivery: I know they say don't look a gift horse in the mouth and the shipping was free but just a heads up on this. I scheduled the delivery two weeks out to a specific date and time. My husband took that day off of work to make sure he was here to help, the specs said it would weight 300 lbs so yeah I wasn't going to get it in the garage myself. After waiting around all day not being able to go anywhere or do anything we received a call late in the day that it would arrive the next afternoon, wow why the hell schedule it? The next day when the driver got here he says "I can't get this thing off the truck so I don't know what you want to do". Ummm okay..... Wow. That was after I had signed saying it was here, so your going to leave or what??? Anyways my husband had to back our truck up to the delivery truck and shove it off into the bed of our truck. Out two days of work... Terrible delivery service... Why would Amazon use a company for delivery that in my opinion is not capable of delivering this size of product???? Needless to say I was not happy in the slightest."

"First of all, I am a women in my 70’s who suffers with mobility problems from spine and RA issues. I have been a faithful gym goer for last 12 years. I do resistance, weights the machines and when I could bare it...the hated treadmill. I hate that thing, so boring. Fast forward to pandemic and gym closures. I just cant do enough at home i decided to go for it, and get a treadmill. I can walk well on treadmill but have issues with my back waking more than around the block. That isnt enough exercise for me. I was lucky to get one here on Amazon as they are backordered everywhere, and not available in sport stores where I live. The price is same as everywhere when you know shipping is included, and it is not with anywhere else.
I was given a delivery date of 1/20/21 and they notified me every step of the way. The delivery men were fabulous. Called me day of delivery, and 30 minutes with in my home. They were careful with product and prepared with special dolly. This bad boy weighs over 300 lbs, so do Some planning.. we had room prearranged on bottom floor outside a sliding door to patio we had them leave it there. We found the best assembly instruction video online at Nordic track. We opened it, went through pieces. He followed video and assembled the bottom. Had our Son in Law help bring it house, placed a mat down...and my husband finished construction from there. My husband is a retired engineer and very methodical and cautious. He doesnt rush anything, lol. He said he did replace a few bolts as he didn't like them, but it wasnt a problem he had them on hand. It took him several hours to construct it, the next day he did the connection of the iFit pad and I was off.
I was taken aback by the size. The profile is large. I know it gives dimentions, but it is different when you actually see it done. There is a small drop from the walking belt to floo, which I have a little issue with because of my joints. But that is half the challenge. . The height from floor to top if the front is taller than I am. I am just under 5’2”. I actually like the treadmill now, and feel very motivated and empowered to use it everyday, and I see quick results ad ,it is fun with the videos. No way can I walk at 2.5 mph like most of the programs are set to. But I can modify easily, the elevation mode goes easily from -2 to 15. If i cant maintain at the Higher elevations after a while without pain in my back, I just lower it. So all programs are adaptable. The several ifit programs I have done are very informative as well as beautiful.
All in all, this is an extremely professional, sturdy treadmill for walking, jogging or running. I love being able to track my past work. I love the stats being shown as you work out. There is music if you want it An adjustable audio board. I can say it is very user friendly. I am not the techiest person out there, I retired before my job had computers!! But I maneuver well without having to read instructions Great buy, great product."
